Rob Kreklewetz is a lawyer specializing in all Indirect Tax, Customs and International Trade matters, including related litigation. He is a founding partner at Millar Kreklewetz LLP of Toronto, Canada.

Since Rob started practice in 1988 (ouch!), he has published over 1,250 papers, articles and blogs, has spoken at over 500 speaking engagements and has compiled over 35 years of experience in Indirect Tax, Customs & International Trade.

- The 2025 edition of Lexpert Magazine’s "ALM Top 500 Lawyers in Canada" included Rob and Jack, now for the 26th year in a row.

- The 2025 edition of Best Lawyers included Millar Kreklewetz LLP as a top Canadian boutique.

Rob is married to Franceen (the saint), an incredibly loving and strong woman and a Stage 3C cancer survivor.

Together they have raised four wonderful sons:

- William, 28, the "Conqueror";

- Richard, 22, the "Lion-Hearted";

- Raine, 18, the "Holy Terror" - but as of Feb 19, 2026, a power-hitter with a .435 Avg in US College Baseball!

- and- 

- Lake, 17, the "The-Most-Likely-Son-To-Take-Over-Rob's-Law-Practice".

With all that extra-curricular activity behind him, Rob is currently counting down to his “Freedom-95” retirement plan — with ONLY 35 more years to go!

Late addition: Just to provide Franceen with more work on the home front, Fred (the “One-Eyed-Wonder”) is still running strong at 12 years of age — our beloved family pug.
